Introducing "The Wild Night" !When i was making this piece i was inspired by Lanvin's new feather pieces. I wanted to make a big feathered necklace so when you wear it it's as if you are wearing a shirt! I wish you didn't have to wear anything underneath it :). I wore this Necklace to the season finale of the project runway and happened to be sitting at Alicia Keys seat in the front row!! The cameras were everywhere on top of us, i really cant wait to see the season's finale just to see if i can see the Wild Night in there or not!
The Wild Night also caught a lot of attention on fashion night out, when a group of teenage kids surrounded me and asked me where i got my SHIRT!! I told them it's not a shirt it's a necklace and i made it. The business cards started flying out of my bag!!
It feels good when you are walking on Madison Ave and you see people turning their heads and talking about your necklace.....
